Obituary for John P. Osypowski
John P. Osypowski, age 75, of the Town of Rock Falls, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018, at his home of natural causes.
John was born April 4, 1943, in Marathon, Wisconsin, son of the late Felix and Elisabeth (Jelinski) Osypowski. John was a Tool and Die Maker, and had worked at Fulton Manufacturing and Crystal Finishing’s. John was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. He enjoyed tending to his flower and vegetable gardens, his apple orchard, and making apple sauce. John’s best times were spent with his grandchildren. John enjoyed attending The Journey Church in Merrill.
John is survived by his daughter, Jacqueline Standley, Schofield; four grandsons, Josh, John, and Jason Smith, and Derrick Standley; and two siblings, Theresa (Patrick) Zabrowski, Stevens Point, and Henry (Judith) Osypowski, Irma. Besides his parents, John is preceded in death by one brother, James.
A Memorial Service for John will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 10, 2018, at The Journey Church, Merrill. Pastor Brad Main will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday beginning at 9:30 AM. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Merrill, is assisting the family.
