Obituary for Marjorie L. Meyer
Marjorie L. Meyer, 89, of Merrill, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Merrill.
Marjorie was born March 10, 1932, in Merrill, daughter of the late Arnold and Margaret (Savaske) Zimmerman. Marjorie was a homemaker and stay at home mom to her children. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, taking casino trips, visiting her sister in the Northwoods, Sunday afternoon rides, and visiting with her friends at Jenny Towers.
Marjorie is survived by her six children, Sharon (Bill) Schneider, Julie (Mark) Lambrecht, Dave Meyer, Keith ‘Harvey’ (JoAnn) Meyer, and Paul Meyer all of Merrill, and Harley (Sherry) Meyer of Mosinee; her son-in-law, Frank Shaver of Shawano; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Jake Zimmerman, Buck (Judy) Zimmerman, and Chuck (Karla) Zimmerman all of Merrill, Dorothy McGurt of Fifield, and Susan Thompson of Arkansas. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; three children, Mark Meyer, Nancy Meyer, and Donna Shaver: and three siblings, Phyllis Cole, Barbara Evertt, and Shirley Anderson.
