Obituary for James R. Mahn
James R. Mahn, 80, of Merrill, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Jim was born May 10, 1939 in Milwaukee, son of the late George and Elizabeth (Levandowski) Mahn. When he was 7, Jim and his family moved to the Town of Pine River, Lincoln County. Jim graduated from Merrill Senior High School in 1957. He met and fell in love with Sandra Radloff and they were married on September 26, 1959. For 26 years Jim worked with Ament & Sons in Merrill. He then obtained his realtors license and in 1982 Jim and Andy Semling started American Way Realty in Merrill. Jim continued to work at American Way Realty until his retirement. Jim was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill and had served on many boards at the church. Jim was a handy man and could fix just about anything. He enjoyed the Packers and Brewers, and playing golf. Jim also had a love for cars. Both he and Sandra enjoyed taking their grandchildren on vacations to places for fun and historical value.

Jim is survived by his wife, Sandra Mahn, Merrill; two children, David Mahn, Merrill and Amy (Randy) Lisowsky, Germantown; his grandchildren, Cassandra (Steve) Quist, Gregory and Garrett Lisowski, Ashley Mahn, and Melissa (Matt) Lashua; his great grandchildren, Bentleigh, Huddson, and Nash; his brothers in law, Gary (Lola) Radloff and Bruce (Connie) Radloff; and his step brother in law, Allen Karau. Besides his parents, Jim is preceded in death by his in laws, Lylas Radloff, and Frieda and Alfred Karau; his brothers George and Wayne Mahn; a nephew, Tom Mahn; and his godchild, Tim Imse.

The funeral will begin at 11:00 AM Friday, February 7, 2020 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill. The Rev. Adam Rodriguez will officiate. Burial will follow in Merrill Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM at the church. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill is assisting the family. Online condolences may be made at www.taylorstinefuneralhome.com.
