Will E. Sorby, 64, of Merrill, passed away Monday, December 18, 2023, at his home.
Will was born May 22, 1959, in Merrill, son of the late William and Joann (Groth) Sorby. He married Yvonne Hall in 1982, in Merrill. She survives. Will worked in maintenance and as a machinist at Ward Paper and Voith in Neenah. He enjoyed working in his garage on motorcycles and cars, playing pool, and doing things outdoors.
Will is survived by his wife of 41 years, Yvonne Sorby; sons, Christopher Sorby and Coty Sorby; very special granddaughter, Aaliyah; sister, Sheryl; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Trixie. Will was preceded in death by his parents, William and Joann Sorby; and brother, Tom Sorby.
The family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. A short service will begin at 12:30 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
