Obituary for Timothy W. 'Doughboy' Rowe
Timothy W. Rowe, age 50, of the Town of Merrill, died Wednesday, November 13, 2019 as the result of an automobile accident.
Tim was born June 13, 1969 in Merrill, son of Eugene Rowe and the late Judith (Schwartz) Rowe. He married Brenda A. Davis on October 14, 1995 at St. Stephens United Church of Christ, Merrill. She survives. Tim was currently employed with Sierra Pacific in Medford. Tim was a member of St. Stephens United Church of Christ, Merrill. He was also a member of the Merrill Eagle’s Club. Tim enjoyed Demo Derbies and occasionally racing in the derbies. Tim also enjoyed fishing and hunting, and was a life member of Whitetails Unlimited. Tim and Brenda also enjoyed touring wineries.
Tim is survived by his wife, Brenda Rowe, Merrill; his son, Brian Rowe, Merrill; his father, Eugene Rowe, Merrill; his mother-in-law, Leota Davis, Merrill; his sister, Jane Rowe, Merrill; and his brother-in-law, Brad Davis, Irma. Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Rowe in 2013; and his father-in-law, John Davis in 1995.
A Memorial Service for Tim will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 18, 2019 at St. Stephens United Church of Christ, Merrill. The Rev. Lucas Williams will officiate. Burial of his cremated remains will take place at a later date. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, and again after 9:30 AM Monday at the church.
