Sally J. Bell, 88, of Merrill, passed away Friday, April 14, 2023, at her home.
Sally was born December 5, 1934, in Merrill, daughter of the late Herbert and Louise (Payne) Hehling. She married Robert Bell on June 11, 1955, in Merrill. He preceded her in death on October 12, 1979. Sally worked as a secretary at the Holy Cross Hospital and Weinbrenner Shoe Company for many years. She enjoyed sewing, stamp collecting, reading and going to the casino with her family. Sally loved her dogs and cats.
Sally is survived by her sons, John Bell of Merrill, Thomas (Debra) Bell of Menominee, and Michael Bell of Merrill; grandchildren, Jamie Bell, Jenny (Matt) Preusse, Robert Bell, Michael Bell, Matthew Bell, and Trevor Bell; great-grandson, Landon Preusse; and sister, Linda Wilson. Sally was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bell; son, Patrick Bell; parents, Herbert and Louise Hehling; and brothers, Allen Hehling and James Hehling.
Per Sally’s wishes, no services will be held. Taylor-Stine Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Merrill, is assisting the family.
