Obituary for Roger F. Paul
Roger F. Paul, 78, of Merrill, died Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Roger was born August 21, 1937, in Merrill, son of the late Roy and Eileen (Frechette) Paul. He married Sally Brown on January 31, 1963. She preceded him in death on March 29, 2011. Roger worked at Miller Home Furnishings in Merrill as a delivery person and eventually as a sales person. Roger served in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged. He was a life-member of V.F.W. Post 1638, Merrill. He enjoyed collecting guns and sports cars. His family will remember his generosity.
Roger is survived by his son, Kelly (Marsha) Paul of Lubbock, Texas; one sister, Diane (Ed) Chartier of Merrill; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Roger was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Paul; his parents, Roy and Eileen Paul; two sisters, Barbara Duginski and Sally Bachi; and one brother, Richard Paul.
The family will receive friends at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Monday, August 8, 2016.
