
Obituary for Robin Lee Mittelsteadt
Robin L. Mittelsteadt, 52, of Merrill, passed away of natural causes on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Marshfield Medical Center.
Robin was born March 31, 1968 in Wausau, son of Faye (Kuckhahn) Mittelstead and the late Ronald Mittelsteadt. He married Tania Boettcher on March 9, 2006 in Las Vegas. She survives. Robin was a Sheet Metal Worker with Wisconsin Sheet Metal Workers Local #18. Robin enjoyed snowmobiling and was currently the president of the ‘Rock Island Express’ snowmobile club. He also enjoyed motorcycling; hunting, fishing, and being outdoors; planting and raising both apple trees and blueberries; gardening; and attending music festivals with Tania.
Robin is survived by his wife, Tania Mittelsteadt of Merrill; his beloved dog ‘Sabbath’; his mother, Faye Mittelstead of Merrill; two sisters, Rhonda (Chris) Nowak and Rhegan Eggebrecht, both of Merrill; his brother in law, Roy Eggebrecht of Merrill; and his brother and sister in law, Shane (Jenny) Boettcher of Idaho; and his nieces and nephews, Ashley, Nickolas, Kyah, Zach, Bryce, Brady, Cole and Caitlyn. Robin is preceded in death by his dad, Ron Mittelsteadt.
The funeral will be at 1:00 PM Monday, December 14, 2020 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill. The Rev. Scott Gustafson will officiate. Burial will take place in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Town of Scott. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM Monday at the church. MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED AND SOCIAL DISTANCING PRACTICED AT THE CHURCH. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill is assisting the family.
