Bob and his family moved to Merrill in 1989 and he worked in the X-Ray department at Good Samaritan Health Center. After 23 years at Good Sam, he retired in 2012.

Bob was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but his first love was bow hunting. He harvested several Pope and Young trophy bucks bow hunting. He was a diehard Green Bay Packers fan and enjoyed going to the games.
