Paul J. Silva, 84, of Merrill, passed away Friday, August 9, 2024, at Rennes Health & Rehab Center in Weston.
Paul was born October 23, 1939, in Milwaukee, son of Michael and Rose (Feldman) Silva. He married Linda Paul on August 24, 1979, and she survives. Paul and Linda lived for many years in Milwaukee and moved to Merrill in their retirement.
Paul was an excellent gardener and could make anything grow. He also enjoyed yardwork and fishing. Paul had a great sense of humor; he was a character and enjoyed seeing people smile.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Silva; children, Tabatha (Darwin) Schnitzler, Michelle McGrone, Billi Jo Silva, Paul Silva Jr., and Nicole Silva (Theo Williams); 19 grandchildren, Dustin (Tiffany) Schnitzler, Katlyn (Jeff) McCourtney, Carly (Alex) Griffith, Cierra McGrone, Iyiecha Potts, Jaquala Potts, Devin Hull, Desiree Hull, Mykayla Silva, Monica Silva, Megan Voigt, Jayden Silva, Kadiesha Williams, Britney Hogans, Theodore Williams, Briana Williams, Mariah Hogans, Arionna Moore, and Alex Moore; 16 great grandchildren; and 18 nieces and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Rose Silva; and his siblings, John Silva, Albert Silva, Delores (John) Vogel, and Cecelia Silva.
