Obituary for Patricia V. 'Patty' Krahn
Patricia ‘Patty’ V. Krahn, 85, of Merrill, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill.
Patricia was born on April 29, 1936, in Merrill to the late William and Gladys (Batchelder) Welk. Patricia married Milton Krahn on June 1, 1957, in Merrill, and he preceded her in death on January 3, 2015. Patricia was a homemaker for many years. She also ran a daycare out of her home, and later worked at the former Eddie’s Bakery and Church Mutual. Patricia enjoyed gardening, taking walks, and caring for her children and grandchildren. She loved the holidays especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. Patricia was involved with the Lincoln County ARC.
Patricia is survived by her children, Sheryl Krahn of Merrill, Kyle (Karen) Krahn of Ten Sleep, Wyoming, Kent Krahn of Tomahawk, and Susan Duellman of Granton; grandchildren, Rhiannon, Jason, Joshua, Chloe, and Sam; great-grandchildren, Madeline, Jaxon, Avery, Aubree, and Michael; and brother, William (Lois) Welk of Oshkosh. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Krahn; parents, William and Gladys Welk; and granddaughter, Hannah Mae.
A graveside Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 P.M., Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery. Taylor-Stine Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Merrill, is assisting the family with arrangements.
