Obituary for LuAnn Stevenson
LuAnn Stevenson, 64, of Merrill, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
LuAnn was born October 10, 1954 in Merrill, daughter of the late Elroy and Velma (Wendorf) Kleinschmidt. She married Robert Stevenson on June 16, 1973, in Merrill. He survives. LuAnn had several jobs throughout the years. The most favorite ‘job’ she had was taking care of her grandchildren. She loved spending time with them. LuAnn also enjoyed watching NASCAR and soap operas, listening to country music and camping in her younger years.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Stevenson of Merrill; daughters, Diane Stevenson and Emily Stevenson both of Merrill; grandchildren, Jordan Schwartz, Evan Stevenson, Caden Parham-Stevenson and Layla Stevenson; sisters, Linda Engman, Laurel (Bob) Henderson and Lisa (Dave) Gervais all of Merrill; sisters-in-law, Ruth (Ron) Young of Tomahawk and Laura (Steve) Ament of Merrill; and brother-in-law, Alfred ‘Fritz’ (Lorraine) Stevenson of Merrill. LuAnn was preceded in death by her parents, Elroy and Velma Kleinschmidt; infant son, Robert Stevenson; and sisters, Lois Kleinschmidt and Lorraine LaPerriere.
Per LuAnn’s request, no services will be held. Taylor-Stine Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Merrill, is assisting the family with arrangements.
