Obituary for Louise M. Krause
Louise M. Krause, age 97, formerly of Merrill, died Sunday, May 29, 2016, at Wausau Manor, Wausau.
Louise was born May 16, 1919, in Waldorf, Germany, daughter of the late Johannes and Suzzanna (Scheich) Winnes. She married Emil Miller, and he preceded her in death. She then married George Krause, who preceded her in death in 2000. Louise was a retired employee of Weinbrenner Shoe Company, Merrill. She was a member of St. Stephens United Church of Christ, Merrill.
Survivors include her grandsons, Peter (Dorothy) Krause, Merrill, and Dieter Krause (with Tammy Nelson) of Minnesota; her daughter in law, Mary Alice Krause of Minnesota; and a step great granddaughter, Holly Behrens, Merrill. Besides her parents and husbands, Louise is preceded in death by her son, Dieter Krause in 2006.
Burial of Louise’s cremated remains will take place in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Town of Corning.
