Lester L. Grund, age 64, of Merrill, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at the House of the Dove Hospice, Marshfield.
Lester was born September 7, 1953, in Merrill, son of the late Eugene and Delores (Raddatz) Grund. Lester had been a logger for over 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, gardening, and being outdoors.
Survivors include his son Jamie (companion, Wendy) Grund, Eagle, Wisconsin; 5 sisters, Phyllis (Gene) Voigt, Lou Ann Grund, and Lynette (Todd) Trapp, all of Merrill, and Sharon (Tom) Radtke and Betty (Randy) Mahn, both of Wausau; and 6 brothers, Rueben (Diane) Grund, Lloyd Grund, Jerome Grund, Mark Grund, Brian (Karen) Grund, and Tim (Sara) Grund, all of Merrill. Besides his parents, Lester is preceded in death by a sister in law, Debbie Grund.
Family and friends may gather from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Monday, April 9, 2018, at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill.
