Obituary for Len J. Majetic, Jr.
Len Majetic, Jr., age 51, passed away at his home on Monday, February 8, 2016, surrounded by his loving family, and under hospice care.
Len was born April 14, 1964, in Joliet, Illinois, son of Leonard and Sara Majetic. He married Rhonda Hoffman on November 12, 1987, in Merrill. She survives. Len was currently employed with Agra Industries of Merrill. He enjoyed spending time with his family and godson, camping, fishing, motorcycling, and NASCAR especially Matt Kenseth. Len also enjoyed the company of his former Golden Retriever ‘Jake’ and currently his Golden Retriever ‘Yukon’, Jake’s sister. Len served in the U.S. Army stateside and was honorably discharged.
Survivors include his wife Rhonda Majetic, Merrill; two sons, Scott Hoffman of Green Bay, and Josh Hoffman, Merrill; his parents, Leonard and Sara Majetic, Sr. of Brokaw; his father and mother in law, Roy and Sandy Hoffman of Merrill; his 6 year old godson, Jacoby Nelson of Merrill; four sibling, Lori Burns of Schofield, Leslie (Aaron) Hoffman of Merrill, Chuck (Heather) Majetic of Menomonee, and Brian Majetic of Brokaw; and his sister in law, Renee (Matt) Garske of Merrill.
The Funeral Liturgy will begin at 1:30 P.M. Friday, February 12, 2016, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Merrill. Deacon Jim Arndt will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery – Veterans Memorial Section, with graveside military rites conducted by the Merrill V.F.W. Post 1638 Honor Guard. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM Friday at the church. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting the family.
