Keith Brooks, 91, of Merrill, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Tomahawk Health Services.
Keith was born February 27, 1931, in Buena Vista, Wisconsin, son of the late Harold and Lydia (Bennett) Brooks. He married Lois L. Waldburger in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho in July of 1953. She preceded him in death in 1993. Keith worked at Wire Products in Merrill for over 30 years. He enjoyed deer hunting, camping, traveling to Idaho, and watching football, especially the Packers.
Keith is survived by his son, Steve (Tammy) Brooks of Irma; grandchildren, Kyle (Jennifer) Brooks, Lindsay (Eli) Knoblock, Stacy Maner, Cole Brooks, and Jeremiah Brooks; eight great-grandchildren and one on the way. Keith was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Brooks; parents, Harold and Lydia Brooks; sons, Fred Brooks and Randy Brooks; sister, Beatrice Bauman; and brother, Sonny Brooks.
A private graveside service for Keith will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Town of Rock Falls, Lincoln County. Taylor-Stine Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Merrill, is assisting the family.
