Obituary for Joyce R. Woller
Joyce R. Woller, 85, of Merrill, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff.
Joyce was born on January 30, 1937, in the Town of Corning, daughter of the late Florian and Bertha (Wittwer) Zogg. She married Leroy Woller on September 14, 1957, at St. Stephen's United Church of Christ in Merrill and they recently celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary. Joyce was homemaker for most of her life, in her earlier years she was a part of the 'Sweet Adeline's' singing group worked at Holy Cross Hospital and Ward Paper. She was proud of her Swiss heritage, and her farm. Joyce also enjoyed music, gardening, bird watching, and her cats.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Leroy Woller of Merrill; daughters, Lynn (Dave) Wegner of Merrill, Cindy (Darrell) Steen of Dorchester, and Laurie (Scott) Wegner of Merrill; sons, Evan (Dawn) Woller, and Marlon (Robyn) Woller both of Merrill; nine grandchildren, Adam (Stephanie) Wegner, Amber Wegner, Neil Duranceau, Justin (Nikki) Duranceau, Breanna (Kyle) Hoffman, Katelynn Woller, Cordell Woller, Grant Woller, and Elena Woller; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Alice (Ervin) Steen of Rib Lake; and brothers, Andrew Zogg of Merrill, and Paul Zogg of Avon, Montana. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Florian and Bertha Zogg; sisters, Elizabeth Lipka and Mary Stahel; and niece, Lynette Zogg.
The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Town of Berlin. The Rev. Andrew DeGier will officiate. Burial will take place in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Town of Berlin. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the church. Taylor-Stine Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Merrill, is assisting the family.
