Obituary for Joseph O. Reichl
Joseph O. Reichl, age 89, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Woodlawn Court in Merrill, with his wife, Grayce, by his side.
Joe was born May 7, 1929, in Wausau, son of the late Oscar and Caroline (Barres) Reichl. He married Grayce Anderson on October 22, 1975. She survives. Joe had been the owner and operator of Merrill Glass Company. He enjoyed attending both boat and car shows, and spending time on their houseboat on the Mississippi River. Joe served in the U.S. Army as a military policeman.
Survivors include his wife Grayce Reichl, Merrill; three daughters, Robin Reichl, Madison, Virginia (Brian) Zinser, Marquette, Michigan, and Sarah Reichl, Wausau; one son, Alex (Janice) Reichl, Stevens Point; four grandchildren, Natalie, Kate, Jack, and Caroline; a great-grandchild on the way; and a brother, Charles Reichl, Stevens Point. Besides his parents, Joe was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Anna Marie Reichl; and three brothers, Matt, Ray and John.
Per Joe’s wishes there will be no services. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Merrill, is assisting the family.
