Johanna was currently a member of Good Shepard Lutheran Church, Wausau where she enjoyed ushering and being active serving the Lord.

In 1950, Johanna married the love of her life, Lenhard Leih. They would have celebrated 55 years of marriage the year her beloved husband passed away in 2005. Besides her parents and husband, Johanna was preceded in death by her grandson, Keith Woller; two brothers, Rinehardt and Harold Graap; four half-brothers, Hank, Laurence and LeRoy Buzza and Walter Ney; three brothers-in-law, Gerald Leih, Albert Ziemke and Steve Lakes; and five sisters-in-law, Gertrude Leih, Helen Ziemke, Linda Buzza, Grace Buzza and Barbara Graap.

Johanna began working at the former Bellevue Café in Merrill, and spent over 38 years working at Marathon Electric in Wausau. Johanna’s family was the most important part of her life. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be deeply missed by her entire family. Johanna had a love for music and dancing, and she also enjoyed going with her family for their Friday night fish fry’s.

Johanna’s funeral will begin at 11:00 AM Monday, February 11, 2019 at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. The Rev. Matthew Bless will officiate. Entombment will follow in Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery, Merrill. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM Sunday, and after 10:00 AM Monday, all at the funeral home.
