Obituary for JoAnne C. Kolka
JoAnne C. Kolka, 84, formerly of Irma, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Countryside Manor in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
JoAnne was born on September 7, 1937, in Merrill, daughter of the late Clement and Beatrice (Peck) Bondioli. She married Ronald Kolka on September 11, 1954, at Bethany Lutheran Church in the Town of Birch. He preceded her in death on February 23, 2005. JoAnne worked in sales at Gruett Appliance Center for many years. JoAnne enjoyed her cats, gardening, watching Wisconsin sports, and walking outside when she was able. She was the treasurer for the Town of Rock Falls, a part of the church altar guild, and attended bible study. She was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Irma.
JoAnne is survived by her sons, Rocky (Laura) Kolka of Sheboygan, Wisconsin and Randy (Sue) Kolka of Grand Rapids, Minnesota; grandchildren, Ashley (Jeff) Kolka-Lee of Duluth, Minnesota, Emily (Riley Delebreau) Kolka of Denmark, Wisconsin, Ryan Kolka of Bemidji, Minnesota, and Ben (Cambrie) Kolka of Green Bay, Wisconsin; great-grandson, Jaxton Delebreau Kolka; and brother, Wayne (Judy) Bondioli of Irma, Wisconsin. JoAnne was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Kolka; parents, Clement and Beatrice Bondioli; sister, Debbie Bondioli; and brother, Anthony Bondioli.
The funeral service for JoAnne will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Irma. Rev. David J. Sutton will officiate. Burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery in the Town of Birch. Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. Saturday at the church. Taylor-Stine Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Merrill, is assisting the family.
