Obituary for Jeffrey L. Krueger
Jeffrey L. Krueger, (‘Jeff”), age 59 passed away unexpectedly at Aspirus Wausau Hospital from heart issues on Saturday, April 11, 2020.
Jeff was born February 18, 1961 and was the third son born to Anna and Ernest Krueger, Jr. He attended Merrill Area Schools and graduated in 1979. Jeff also graduated from the Tool and Die program at NTC. Jeff met and married his best friend, Sandi, in Merrill, and they were married on September 23, 1983. Jeff had many jobs in his lifetime, was proud to be a union member, and followed in his dad’s footsteps at Ward Paper Company, Merrill, where he was employed for 12 years. Jeff and Sandi enjoyed motorcycling around Wisconsin, Lake Michigan, and Lake Superior for many years prior to the birth of his prides and joy, his daughters Jennifer and Claire. Jeff also enjoyed tractor restoration, photography, his furry house friends, being outdoors, planting trees, building and flying model airplanes, woodworking, and fixing things and tinkering in his shop.
Jeff is survived by his wife Sandi; two daughters, Jennifer Krueger (Grant Nelson) and Claire Krueger, both of Eau Claire; his mother Anna Krueger of Merrill; his brother, Michael J. Krueger, of Merrill; many brothers and sisters in law; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides his father, Ernest Krueger, Jr. and grandparents, Jeff is preceded in death by a brother, Fred Krueger, and many other cherished family members. He will be forever missed by all.
