Obituary for Jeffrey A. Baumann
Jeffrey A. Baumann, 63, of Merrill, passed away January 31, 2019 while on vacation in Jamaica.
Jeff was born January 27, 1956, in Merrill, son of the late Ervin and Audrey Baumann. He married Katherine Kleinschmidt on September 27, 2003. She survives. Jeff was employed at Marathon Cheese Corp. He enjoyed riding his Harley, local sightseeing, and watching the Green Bay Packers.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine ‘Kathie’ Baumann of Merrill; children, Nicholas Baumann of Wausau, Theodore Baumann of Wausau and Annie Kleinschmidt of Merrill; granddaughter, Avery Kleinschmidt; sister, Sue (John) Heckendorf of Merrill; brothers, Ervin ‘Butch’ Baumann, Jr. of Milladore, WI and Terry (Amy) Baumann of Merrill; Kathie’s siblings, Bonnie Thurs of Athens, Lynda (Mike) Kropp of Merrill, Gay (Roger) Mootz of Merrill, Wanda Kleinschmidt of Merrill, Lois (Lee) Schmidt of Merrill, Rebecca Kleinschmidt of Merrill, Virgil (Sherry) Kleinschmidt of Gleason, Dean (Peggy) Kleinschmidt of Merrill, Brian Kleinschmidt of Schofield and Jon (Becky) Kleinschmidt; sister-in-law, Laurie Kleinschmidt of Weston; and many nieces and nephews. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin and Audrey Baumann; sister, Debbie Gryskiewicz; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Milton and Vernette Kleinschmidt; brothers-in-law, Daniel “Boone” Kleinschmidt, Joel Kleinschmidt, Tom Kleinschmidt and Richard Thurs.
A Celebration of Jeff’s Life will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the Corning Town Hall - N1569 State Road 64, Merrill. Taylor-Stine Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Merrill, is assisting the family with arrangements.
