Obituary for Jean Helen Bubolz
Jean H. Bubolz, 87, of Merrill, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital with her family at her side.
Jean was born April 26, 1932 in Marathon County, daughter of the late Louis and Viola (Grawien) Langhoff, Sr. She married Lawrence Bubolz on May 23, 1953 in Immanuel Lutheran Church, Town of Corning. He preceded her in death on August 25, 2018. Jean had worked at Merrill Manufacturing Corporation, Merrill, and retired after 24 years.
Jean is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth (Donald) Gille, Wausau, and Sarah Burkhardt and Sheila (Dan) Mueller, both of Merrill; one son, Mark (Bonnie) Bubolz, Edgerton; four grandchildren, Andrew (Sarah) Gille, Jessica (Paul) Smith, Jill (Clint) Anderson, and Mariah Mueller (with Kevin Voelz); three great grandchildren, Joshua Krause, Payton and Jared Anderson; three step grandchildren; nine step great grandchildren; two step great great grandchildren; one brother, Louis Langhoff, Jr., Oshkosh; and four sisters, Isabelle (Robert) Hoff, Marion Simon, and Shirley Borchardt, all of Merrill, and Clarice (Ervin) Boehm, Wausau. Besides her parents and husband, Jean is preceded in death by one son, Allen; three sisters, Margery Klammer-Buffinton, Vernette Kleinschmidt, and Florence Langhoff; and her in laws, William Klammer, Glen Buffinton, Milton Kleinschmidt, Geraldine Langhoff, Lavern Borchardt, Richard Simon, and David Langhoff.
The funeral will begin at 11:00 AM Monday, July 22, 2019 at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. The Rev. Joel Danner will officiate. Entombment will follow in Merrill Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday, and after 9:30 AM Monday all at the funeral home.
