Obituary for James Scott Schult
James Scott Schult, 47, of Merrill, Wisconsin passed unexpectedly on September 12th, 2021.
Jimmy was born August 19th, 1974, in Wausau, to loving parents Ronald and Carolyn ‘Carol’ (Liebers) Schult. He graduated from Wausau West High School in 1992 and went on to pursue a career as a plumber, with his most recent employer being Stainless Specialist from 2006 to present.
Jimmy was a loving son, father, brother, and uncle. He was passionate about snowmobiling, boating, any outdoor activities, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his friends and family. This tragic and unexpected loss is devastating to his family and friends. Jimmy’s death has left a huge hole in our hearts that will never be completely filled.
Jimmy is preceded in death by mother, Carolyn Schult; brother, Timothy Schult; and grandparents, Helen & Emil Liebers, and Lorna & Herman Schult. He is survived by father, Ron Schult (Linda Schuster), Tomahawk; one sister, Tammy Schoepke (Matt Bootz), Wausau; one brother, Robert ‘Bob’ Schult, Tomahawk; one son, Jordan Schult, Wausau; nieces and nephews, Josie, Jedidiah, and Jake Schoepke, Matthew Schult (Rosezanna Pierce), and Nicki (Nick)Summers; great-nephew and great-niece, Hudson Schult and Nicolina Summers.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. Sunday, September 19, 2021, at the Taylor and Stine Funeral Home, 903 E. 3rd. Street Merrill, WI 54452. A brief memorial to Jimmy will begin at 3:00 P.M. Burial of Jimmy’s cremated remains will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery, Village of Maine, Marathon County. A celebration of life will follow the burial ceremony.
