Obituary for Iris M. Strozewski
Iris M. Strozewski, 89, of Merrill, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill.
Iris was born December 31, 1929, in Pittsville, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Ernest and Ada (Bonwell) Nordman. She married Roger Strozewski on November 6, 1948. He preceded her in death on December 21, 2012. Iris had worked at Wire Products in Merrill for 24 years. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill, and was a member of the Ladies Aid. She was also a member of the Sixth Ward Circle and The Red Hatters.
Survivors include her children, Glenn Strozewski, Sr. of Plover and Gary Strozewski of Phoenix, Arizona; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Iris was preceded in death by her husband, Roger; parents, Ernest and Ada Nordman; sister, Mabel Yetter; and brothers, Everett Nordman and Arnold Nordman.
A private service for Iris was held. Taylor-Stine Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Merrill, assisted with arrangements.
