Obituary for Florence A. 'Flo' Brazeau
Florence A. ‘Flo’ Brazeau, 67, of Merrill, passed away Monday, September 20, 2021, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Flo was born February 13, 1954, in Chicago, daughter of the late Louis and Florence (Dombrowski) Pempek. She married Edward Brazeau on April 24, 1976, in Illinois. He survives. Flo and Ed had lived for several years in Illinois and in 1989 they moved to the Merrill area. Flo worked as an executive assistant at Church Mutual Insurance for 25 years and retired in February of 2016.
Flo loved her family especially her granddaughter, Brinlee. She enjoyed taking care of her family and the house, cooking and baking, flower and vegetable gardening, and shopping online. Flo also enjoyed playing Pinnacle every Tuesday with her friends.
Survivors include her husband, Edward ‘Ed’ Brazeau of Merrill; daughter, Jackie Brazeau (Kyle Badeau) of Merrill; son, Troy Brazeau (Jessie Kalwitz) of Merrill; granddaughter, Brinlee; sister, Kathy Ennenbach of Tinley Park, Illinois; brothers, Larry (Sue) Pempek of Cedar Lake, Indiana and Lou (Barb) Pempek of Manteno, Indiana; brother-in-law, Mike Malicki of Bristol, Wisconsin; many nieces and nephews; and several close relatives and friends. Flo was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Florence Pempek; sister-in-law, Kathy Malicki; and brother-in-law, Tom Ennenbach.
A celebration of Flo’s life will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M., Saturday, September 25, 2021, at the Town of Merrill Town Hall, W4594 Progress Ave., Merrill. Taylor-Stine Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Merrill, is assisting the family.
