Obituary for Dennis D. Chartier
Dennis D. Chartier, 74, of Merrill, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021 while residing at Woodland Court Elder Services, Merrill.
Dennis was born November 5, 1946 in Merrill, son of the late George O. and Marcella R. (DeBarr) Chartier. Dennis had worked as a Security Guard at Fromm Brothers in Hamburg for several years, and had also worked for Kolbe & Kolbe. Dennis enjoyed getting a ‘Queenie’s Pizza’ and watching old movies at home; putting together puzzles; and making pottery.
Dennis is survived by his sister, Sharon (Richard) Schmeltzer of Merrill; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his siblings, Sue Kufahl, Darrell Chartier, and James Chartier.
Per Dennis’ wishes there will be no public service. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Merrill Memorial Park Columbarium. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Merrill is assisting the family.
