Bernice E. Pahls, 93, of Merrill, passed away Monday, January 18, 2021 at Woodland Court Elder Services, Merrill.
Bernice was born April 11, 1927 in Merrill, daughter of Emil and Elsie (Kriewald) Radloff. She married Alvin Pahls on September 17, 1949 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill, and he preceded her in death on March 29, 2013. Bernice was a devoted wife to her husband, Alvin. She was a homemaker and enjoyed baking and gardening. Bernice was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill.
Bernice is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Mavis and Philip Smith of Merrill; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Pahls; parents, Emil and Elsie Radloff; and siblings, Myrtle (Leonard) Scheu, Ruth (Oswald ‘Ozzie’) Gegner, Wilbert Radloff, Lylas Radloff, Laura Radloff, and Frank Radloff.
A private graveside service will be held. Burial will take place at Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery. Taylor-Stine Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Merrill, is assisting the family.
