Obituary for Anthony 'Tony' Voigt
Anthony J. ‘Tony’ Voigt, 48, of Merrill, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020 at his home.
Tony was born March 21, 1971 in Merrill, son of Gene and Phyllis (Grund) Voigt. Tony was baptized and confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church, Merrill. He had worked at several restaurants in Merrill and had also worked for eight years at Northern Wire.
Tony is survived by his parents, Gene and Phyllis Voigt of Merrill; brother, Jeremy Voigt of Merrill; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Tony was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Ernestine Voigt; and maternal grandparents, Eugene and Delores Grund.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Taylor-Stine Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Merrill, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Memorials may be directed to St. John Lutheran Church, Merrill.
