Obituary for Aaron L. Hinz
Aaron L. Hinz, 66, of Merrill, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at
Marshfield Medical Center, Weston.
Aaron was born January 24, 1955 in Merrill, son of Eldru (Hanson) Hinz and the
late Clarence ‘Speedy’ Hinz. Aaron had been a maintenance mechanic at the
former Stokley Canning Company in Merrill, and then at Gordon Aluminum in
Schofield. He enjoyed hunting, four-wheeling, playing cribbage and watching the
Packers and Brewers play.
Aaron is survived by his daughter and son in law, Michele (Joedy) Burgener of
Merrill; three grandchildren, Austin, Abigail, and Autumn Burgener all of Merrill;
his mother, Eldru Hinz of Merrill; and five brothers, Byron Hinz, Buck (Helen) Hinz,
Cal (Kathy) Hinz, and Kelley Hinz all of Merrill, and Vernon Hinz of Wausau.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 4:00 PM until
7:00 PM at Kathy & Cal’s Club 64 in Merrill. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home &
