Pre-Planning

Funeral arrangements are a deeply personal choice.  Pre-planning provides you with the time needed to make practical, detailed decisions that reflect your preferences.

Your pre-arrangements can be as simple or as detailed as you wish.  Some families choose to select the type of services and merchandise they would prefer, while others only complete the information that will be needed for legal documents and necessary paperwork.  Our funeral home truly believes that any planning can prove to be invaluable when the need arises, providing a sense of direction for the loved ones who are left behind.

Pre-planning a funeral benefits everyone in your family.  Compounded by the sense of loss and grief that can be experienced by the death of a loved one, making funeral arrangements can become a daunting and difficult task.  One of the benefits of pre-planning your funeral is peace of mind: assuring that your final wishes are made known.  Difficult decisions are made by you in advance, easing your loved ones responsibilities at the time of need.  Pre-planning a funeral does not mean you need to pre-fund a funeral, pre-funding is only optional.  Pre-planning a funeral simply means that your wishes are kept on file until the services that you selected are needed.  There are options for pre-funding a funeral at Taylor – Stine Funeral Home.  Paying for a portion or all of the final expenses through funeral trusts or funeral insurance are common options in pre-funding selected funeral services.  Trusts or Insurance can be set up so financial burdens are eliminated or minimized.

Our professional staff is ready to meet with you and guide you in making choices about pre-planning or pre-funding a funeral.  We can meet with you in your home or at our funeral home to explain the various choices and answer any questions you may have.
