Our Staff Richard A. Stine, Funeral Director – Owner  Rick was born May 15, 1955, in Merrill, and graduated from Merrill Senior High School in 1973. In 1976, Rick graduated from the Milwaukee Area Technical College with a degree in Mortuary Science, and immediately thereafter began his career at the Taylor Funeral Home. He became the sole owner of the business in 2001. His hobbies include golf, spending time outdoors, and the Green Bay Packers. He is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill. Rick is proud to be a member of the Merrill Rotary Club and the Merrill Kiwanis club. He resides in the Town of Pine River, with his wife, Lori. They have one daughter, Chelsy. Leah D. Reist, Funeral Director, Licensed Life Insurance Agent and Wisconsin Certified Agent for Burial Agreements Born and raised in Merrill, Leah graduated from Merrill High School in 1998. In 2003, she graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mortuary Science. Leah began her apprenticeship with the Taylor – Stine Funeral Home in September of 2003, and became licensed in March of 2004. Leah also received her insurance license in May of 2006. Leah enjoys fishing and camping and spending time with her family. She is a member of St. Stephen’s United Church of Christ, Merrill. Tammy has been in the Merrill area since 1970. In 1985, she became a licensed insurance agent. In 1999, Tammy began working with the Taylor – Stine Funeral Home as a pre-planning agent. Tammy enjoys camping, gardening and home remodeling. She is a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Merrill. She resides in Merrill with her husband, Allan. Tammy and Leah are available to meet with folks in the privacy of their homes or at the funeral home. |
