Obituary for Susan M. Klune
Susan M. Klune, age 80, of Merrill, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Bell Tower Residence, Merrill.
Susan was born August 1, 1937, in Neenah, Wisconsin, daughter of the late John and Marvel (Pues) Pawelkiewicz. She married Edward J. Klune on February 9, 1957, in Clintonville, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on June 11, 2016. Susan was a bookkeeper at Edward Klune C.P.A. Susan enjoyed traveling with her husband in their motorhome, wintering in Florida, Texas, and Nevada, bowling, knitting and crocheting, and playing cards with her Bridge Club. Susan was a member of the Merrill Lioness Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen (Doug) Drost, and Beth (Darryl) Frick, both of Merrill; one son, Michael (Dorice) Klune, McFarland; seven grandchildren, Jennifer (Scott) Peterson, Andrew (Betsy) Kraft, Tanya and Jessica Frick, Alison (Kurt Krueger) Eng, and Emily and Alex Eng; six great grandchildren, Lucas and Isaac Peterson, Calista and Jameson Kraft, and Liam and Kai Krueger; and her half brothers and sisters, Kathryn (Arlyn) Hanson, Appleton, Bob (Connie) Pawelkiewicz, Peggy (Merlin) Harns, Linda (Bruce) Frederick, John (Darlene) Pawelkiewicz, David (Trudi) Pawelkiewicz, all of Wisconsin, and Richard (Barbara) Pawelkiewicz, New York. Besides her husband and parents, Susan is preceded in death by her step father, Lloyd Hidde.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 16, 2018, in Holy Cross Chapel at Bell Tower Residence, 1500 O’Day Street, Merrill. Father Chris Kemp will be the celebrant. Entombment will follow in Merrill Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM Friday in Holy Cross Chapel at Bell Tower Residence. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Merrill, is assisting the family.
